Hiking:

A total of 140 km of unspoilt hiking and walking trails can be found around Wagrain. Explore the valley trails to St. Johann or Flachau, or the high-altitude hikes to Kleinarl and as far as Tappenkarsee. On all the trails you are surrounded by fantastic mountain slopes and alpine pastures. Stunning hiking trails are also accessible for adventurous families. Afterwards, stop off at one of the mountain huts and enjoy homemade delicacies from Wagrain.

Mountain biking & bike park:

All mountain bikers, racing cyclists and e-bikers are in the right place in Wagrain. An abundance of routes with wonderful panoramic views will delight biking enthusiasts. Especially popular with all adrenaline junkies is the Bikepark Wagrain, one of the best downhill parks in Austria. Knappensteig Appartements is just 500 m from the Flying Mozart, where you can take the gondola up the mountain quite comfortably before the adventure begins: a 9 km trail and a 900 m altitude difference! Trails, jumps, tables & steep curves are en route, suitable for beginners as well as advanced bikers.

Swimming at Wasserwelt Wagrain

Unfortunately, the sun can’t always shine in Wagrain, but with the wide range of leisure activities on offer that’s no problem. The Wasserwelt Wagrain water park is great whatever the weather. Here you will find around 1,450 m² of water and various water slides. A holiday highlight for young and old alike and just a 5-minute walk from Knappensteig Appartements.
